Academic Regulations Appeals Committee

The Academic Regulations Appeals Committee considers appeals for exceptions to undergraduate program academic regulations listed in the Undergraduate Bulletin. The committee is a standing committee composed of faculty and administrators from each school and the college, representatives from the Office of Records and Registration, Strategic Enrollment Management, the Office of Disability Support Services and others. The provost and senior vice president for academic affairs appoints committee members.

Living-Learning Community Faculty Advisory Committee

The Living-Learning Community Faculty Advisory Committee (LLC-FAC) shall be concerned with the academic standards, curriculum development, and academic programs associated with the living learning programs at VCU. The review of all submissions will be done in order to assure appropriate quality and to comply with all standards established by the Undergraduate University Curriculum Committee (UUCC).

All actions of this committee that involve curricular and academic program review will then be submitted for review and approval by the UUCC. Membership of the UUCC will include two members from this committee.

University Undergraduate Curriculum Committee

The University Undergraduate Curriculum Committee (UUCC) is responsible for course and program issues that affect undergraduate instructional programs of the university. The UUCC meets monthly during the academic year and reviews, approves or denies proposals for new courses and programs, as well as changes in existing programs. It also is responsible for facilitating implementation of strategic initiatives related to undergraduate curriculum.
