University Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues

The University Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Issues is a collaborative and advisory body representing the concerns of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community of Virginia Commonwealth University. The committee serves to advance the university’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity. The committee envisions a learning environment where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals are integrated into the intellectual life and social fabric of the university, have equal access to resources and services, and receive equitable treatment as members of the university community.
