Radiation Safety/Radioactive Drug Research Committee

This 15 member committee is mandated by federal law to review uses of radioactive materials. The full committee meets quarterly, but a smaller executive committee meets frequently by phone and mail to review the approximately 50 applications per year to utilize radioactive materials. The committee functions at an advisory and regulatory level.
