University Residency Appeals Committee

The University Residency Appeals Committee is a governance committee required by state law to interpret and enforce statutory requirements for students seeking in-state resident status for tuition and fees purposes.

Reports to: Associate vice provost and dean of student affairs
Authority: Mandatory (Code of Virginia, Section 23-7.4)
Function: Governance

The committee meets, usually, twice a month, normally on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month beginning at 1:30 p.m.
