Dr. Donna Brodd, Chair, opened the meeting by welcoming old and new members of the committee. Guests, who were present, were also welcomed.

Following the welcome and introductions of members and guests, Dr. Jon Wergin spoke to the Committee about VCU’s proposed Quality Enhancement Plan.

Dr. Brodd then conducted an orientation to UUCC. She discussed forms, timelines, reviewers’ guidelines, and operating principles for the committee.

Minutes of the April 30, 2003 meeting were approved as distributed.

The meeting scheduled for September 18, 2003 was cancelled due to closure of the University because of Hurricane Isabel. Thus, there were no Minutes for this meeting.
