Threat Assessment and Violence Prevention Policy:
All members of the VCU community are encouraged to become familiar with the Threat Assessment and Violence Prevention Policy. This policy, which is accessible on-line at http://www.provost.vcu.edu/policies/, details the procedure and process for reporting threats and violence. The policy also outlines the nature of the University’s Threat Assessment Team and its responsibilities.

University Safety Committee:
You are also encouraged to visit the University Safety Committee’s Web site -- www.safety.vcu.edu. The University Safety Committee promotes safety awareness and safe behavior practices among students, faculty and staff. The committee also addresses efforts towards the prevention of violence on campus. Individuals interested in this committee are encouraged to express their interest by emailing dsaes@vcu.edu.

Disruptive Classroom Behavior:
Folders with information pertaining to the Student Conduct in Instructional Settings Policy (http://www.students.vcu.edu/docs/policy_student_conduct.pdf), procedures for identifying and reporting dangerous and disruptive behaviors and safety resources on campus are free and available by stopping by 102 Sitterding House or emailing dsases@vcu.edu.
