Textbook selection and edoption
Generally textbooks are selected by the individual faculty member, though in some cases a departmental committee or a committee composed of faculty teaching a course may select texts.
Faculty members have the responsibility for ordering their own texts and are required to provide textbook information to the appropriate VCU Bookstore.
edoption, through the VCU e2 Bookstore, can be done online. You will need your authorization code. If you do not remember your code, which is given to each faculty member each semester for placing adoptions for the next semester, send an e-mail message to JoAnne Rudenko at jrudenko@vcu.edu. Once you know your authorization code, go to the eDoption site for your campus:
